Geography – Features of UK coastlines

Children work together in their teams to create a model of an UK coastline. Unusually we ask that the activity sheets are printed in colour as the colours of each coastline can help the children understand the difference between them.
Learning Objectives
Geography: Name and locate counties and cities of the United Kingdom, geographical regions and their identifying human and physical characteristics, key topographical features (including coasts).
Resources: Natural materials (including access to rocks of various sizes), sand, water, trays, activity sheet one of each in colour.
