One member of each team is blindfolded and the other members lead them around the site. The experience leads to effective and informed writing about the problems facing many explorers.
Learning Objectives
History: Know and understand significant aspects of the history of the wider world: achievements of mankind.
English: Diary or letter writing.
Geography: Describe and understand key aspects of physical geography, including: climate zones, biomes and vegetation belts, rivers, mountains.
Resources: Balls of string, 4 x blindfolds, a whistle.
