Children mix mud paint to create cave paintings on walls (or paper).

History: Understanding the needs of prehistoric people to survive.
Art: Select from and use a wide range of materials and components, including to improve their mastery of art and design techniques, including drawing, painting and sculpture with a range of materials.
Resources: Clean soil – checked for worms, rubbish etc., sticks or brushes, paper or walls – even the playground will do, washing up liquid, turmeric, berries – frozen ones are fine, water, containers or paint pots.
